Stevie Gilmore GB): Hello Jean, I see a lot of photography, some OK, some stunning, but not always, some quite moving, but not consistently so. You however seem to be in a different league. You have a solid `message` that you are in control of you medium and yet flying through space and time. I am very impressed with your work. You are something I thought I would not see in the current age. `ORIGINAL` Well done Jean. I am not easily impressed by photography and I find your work fascinating.
Juliet Doyle (GB): Just been looking at the latest work by one of my favourite contemporary photographers, Jean M Laffitau. Jean is a Parisian (descended from a line of notable painters), now living in Saarbruecken, Germany. Dramatically striking, intense black and white images of musicians, dancers and actors, absorbed in their work, are the images for which he is probably best known. If you visit his website, though, do take a look at his nudes as well - he approaches the subject in a way that's completely different from the tedious norm.
John Enright (USA): hello Jean, thanks for the thoughts, I really appreciate that sentiment coming from someone as eloquent in their own artform as your self. Your photography has inspired me each time I look at it.
Keith Mooney (USA): Jean, You're an incredible workman. I didn't want to offend you by calling you an artist. I think your work is amazing, and I am always looking forward to viewing more of your photos.Take care & keep up the great work. Keith
Olga van Dijk (USA): Dear Jean, You´re one of the greatest photographers I know. You feeling, emotion and artistic talents make your pictures so different and amazing. The angle of your subject in this pic for instance is totally AWESOME! - Love and Light~OLGA
